Adding a photo to your blog
I just worked out how to add a photo to my blog (and Yes, I know it's a terrible photo). I got someone to take a photo of me with a digital camera. I then connected the camera to a work computer using a USB connection. The computer then recognised the new hardware and asked which program I wanted to use to view the pictures. I chose the third option, which said 'Scanner and Camera'. It then asked me which photos I wanted to copy, so I clicked on the appropriate one. It then asked me where I wanted to save the photo, so I clicked on 'Browse' and clicked on my personal folder on G Drive. The photo was then saved on G Drive. I then went into 'Edit Photograph' on my blog and uploaded the photograph from G Drive.

Photo Sharing
I always wondered what the point of sites like Flickr was, when you can easily just keep all your photos on your hard drive on your own computer. Watching the video on 23 Things has taught me a few things. Firstly, if your computer dies or is stolen, it is important to have a backup and the Internet is a good safe space to do so. Secondly, by tagging your photos on the Internet, it is much easier to find the exact photo you are looking for, rather than having to go through all the photos in an album. Finally, sites like Flickr and PhotoBucket are good for sharing photos, either with chosen friends and family, or with the entire world. People can access the Internet anywhere in the world, so it is easy to share photos with people across great distances.

My First Blog
Today is my birthday. A fellow staff member has already offered to jump out of a cake for me, but unfortunately he is a man. In honour of my birthday, we all stuffed ourselves on pizza and Coke for lunch today. It was very enjoyable.
I'm really enjoying all this new technology stuff. I just discovered my niece is on YouTube. She is interviewing some famous D.J. called Ajax.
